In Memoriam 11 août , 2008

An UNMIN helicopter flying from cantonment site in Sindhuli, in the east of Nepal, to Kathmandu on Monday 3 March 2008, crashed near the village of Bethan in Ramechhap district.
All ten people on board were killed: seven UNMIN personnel, and three crew members.
Here is what I personnaly wrote in their memory at the message number 438.
People works for the United Nations are like firefighters, whereas everybody tries to flee when the fire and the danger, they go toward the fire and faces it with bravery!
In addition, every time that one us fall whereas he had devoted his life for the peace, it’s all of us that are touched by the sadness.
We feel and share this pain even though it comes from a member that is far from us and sometime hidden even to our eyes.
My commiseration to each of us felt by this enormous loss.
